Let me be more clear about the copy protection thing. What I really mean is that SW vendors will be able to customize each copy so that it only runs on the PC of the person who paid for it. So it can be freely copied but not pirated. Maybe this should be called pirate protection rather than copy protection. Whatever it is called the key is that the payer's PIII id will be patched into the copy that is sent by the vendor to the payer. This is what makes each copy specific to each PIII. This will begin in the 3D Game world and then spread to everything in a few years.
