Glenn- Online more current because less chance for data entry errors. If something is wrong online, it has to get corrected if not right away, then eventually, in order for the merch to get where it is going. Manual data entry errors are very common. Also, the online people have one record for each consumer, presumably, not many, which is possible if you shop at more than one location of a chain store. Blockbuster Video requires you to get a new card for each store. Guess how many duplicate & out of date records they have for each single customer? Victor
