David,

In your portfolio you include >>ISIP . . . and last and least AXPH.<< As you respond to TD's query about why you chose these various stocks, I would appreciate your commenting on (1) why you say "last and least" about AXPH, and (2) since this is a contest for short-term performance (bottles of non-Texan wine to be awarded to winners at 6/30 and 12/31/99), why you think ISIP and AXPH have short-term promise.

To be clear, I like both of these and own both, and even have AXPH on my list for this contest, see Message 7048550 , but I'm not satisfied that we can expect much from ISIP and AXPH in the near term, or at least very much compared to their long-term prospects. (Maybe a pop in ISIP on good Crohn's news, but not a lot more?)

DAK - Are you familiar with ICN - which makes the Ribavirin which is part of the cotherapy for HCV - whether plain vanilla Intron A or PEGged? Opinion welcome. Would be on my list for '99. Am long.
