FYI... I'm neither pro or anti USAT... I do own FTEL stock (supplier of some of USAT's equipment). AND, I'm not trying to argue with anyone here... just trying to provide a tidbit of information... On the issue of the "Yorks" and their relationship, USAT has put up a response. trendmark.com Re: Lots of Yorks! This might sound like a silly question to some of you, but it is one I want to answer quickly. Someone has asked us if the two Yorks (Bill York, the Director of Marketing, and Dave York, the Director of Corporate Giving) are related. That's a simple enough question, but then the person noted that he/she read an article in last Friday's USA Today that quoted a Lawrence York, with WWW Internet Fund. Lawrence York said that his fund had USAT as their largest investment and he had a nice quote about the company and the technology. So this same inquirer asked if this York was indeed related to the other two Yorks. None of the three gentlemen are related in any way. Bill York was hired not long ago here in Memphis. He was probably here for three weeks that it even dawned on me that he and Dave had the same last name. Dave is a Distributor who lives in Iowa (he was stationed in San Diego in the Navy, retired and moved back home last year). He wanted to help Non-profit organizations and we asked him to be the Director of Corporate Giving. Anyone who knows Dave will agree that he has the heart, the attitude and the ability to help Non-profits work our Friends For Life Program. Neither of "our Yorks" is related or know or even know ABOUT the other one--Lawrence York. Hope this clears up a simple matter.
