Mo!<re bike baba> Is this kind of nudity ok? I know it's sort of a stupid question. Just trying to learn. And I'd love to travel more. I did not see any nudity in Thailand or Cambodia. In fact, got the impression that the people would be highly offended by any public expressions of such a personal issue as nudity. Trying to learn. Can you refer me to a basic but enlightened book on life styles of present modern day India? Also, what does the word ascetic mean? Thank you in advance.

<OT> Mohan, Not him in patricular but a lot of other Babas like him in TV coverage of Gangasagar. The moped is a nice touch though I must admit. Actually Bankim Chandra wrote a novel based on Gangasagar and I have planning on visiting the place ever since I read the novel. Also there was a splendid movie made in the 80's based on Gangasagar (based on a novel by Sahitya Academy winner Kalkut). Very interesting characters there. Will visit some day once I am back in India. -Apratim.
