Wind River Systems Inc. (WIND) 34 1/4 +2 1/16: --UPDATE-- Hambrecht & Quist suspends coverage on developer and marketer of operating systems and software development tools for creating real-time and embedded applications after the company pre-announces Q4 results; while the company expects revenues of $37 mln to $39 mln and earnings of between $0.27 to $0.29 a share, pretty much in line with firms estimates of $0.29 on revenues of $38.5 mln, management's failure to return calls prompts coverage suspension; still believes that WIND in an industry leader, but with Microsoft (MSFT 161 5/8 +5 3/8) pushing into this space and with chief rival Integrated Systems (INTS 14 1/8 +5/8) making a comeback, longer sales cycles and less visibility are expected to reduce growth rate.....
