Herb Greenberg mentions UNFY again today on CNBC. He compared it to the recent IPO Alliare(sp?). Unify has higher sales, EPS positive, and has a smaller market cap than Alliare. Largely due to the fact that UNFY it is not widely followed. Herb's tout aside it is a solid company that deserves a higher market cap based on what its peers are valued at or for the takeout acquisition premium per my last post. UNFY update: beats already revised estimates of 0.11 by +04 Unify Corporation Reports Record Third Quarter Results Sees Continued Strength in VAR Channels and Increased Momentum to Capitalize On E-commerce Solutions biz.yahoo.com There are only two analysts that follow the stock according to Yahoo! both with Hold ratings, um I think it safe to say that will change. Unify had a blowout in the previous Q also. I don't see why it can't get to 20-25 soon, just based on a reasonable multiple to its peers like ALLR. This position was originally submitted 1/25/99. OT- I had a good day with fore, took it for a pt in the AM. My first day trade this year. I'm good for 5-6 per year. Cheers, denis
