Well that new system I am playing with went long at 40.75. My system that I am trading is a ways off yet, but could go long tomorrow sometime. Another tick or two up and the inside day will be blown....bet that would break your heart. -Scott PS - Hey, you should feel honored! This is my 5,000 post. So we know with certainty that there are at least 5,000 messages on the SI computers that say absolutely nothing and make absolutely no sense at all. Noise, ....just noise. :)

Hi GZ, Tell me again how you use A/D? Do you use something like TRIN (ARMS) or look only at volume or only at issues? Looking at what I can get from Quote.com, I see I can get (at least) advance and declining issues, and volume, and TRIN. I see decisionpoint plots the 200 day ma of (a-d)/(a+d), which looks useful. thanks, Brian p.s. Almost went long again today but didn't. Perhaps tomorrow on a dip to support. It almost hit 1245 resistance today, so some correction from there before breaking through is possible.

Hi GZ, I agree... not to mention SPX/SPH bounced nicely off of the tines of the two most recent up-forks -around Monday's low of 1220 or so basis SPX- that I posted. The MACD (13,34,89) is trying to hang on, but everything else I follow says higher still... BWDIK. I'm still holding some internet stocks which I bought back last week, so far so good. DJIA -- Due Date 27th off Nov High M-tine at 9700 L-tine at 9120 SPX has a M-tine at about 1225 Will be interesting to see what Wednesday and Thursday bring BTW...the OEX and DJIA have due dates next week off the Oct Low and the spread Nov High--Dec Low Should be some BIG SWINGS in these next 9-10 trading days. Just my quess
