Elmer - Re: "Vulgar Stevie & You were ignorant of what a short squeeze is then and you are trying to BS your way out of it
now. "

One of Stevies' other multiple split personalities may have made that post.

He has a "religious" personality and one that approximates "normal".

However, it is usually Vulgar Stevie that responds when he - or his other personalities - are found "wanting".

<<"Who knows what's happening. This stock over reacts to anything negative. I think there is a
short squeeze going on right now. Everyone but the neighbour's dog has been shorting this
thing."

You were complaining about AMD's DROP in price before any price recovery>>

I was not complaining, I was just commenting on AMD's stock price activity.

You're becpming a real nitpicker, Elmer.

Elmer, I disagree with your analysis that Steve didn't know what a short squeeze was. You apparently didn't read carefully. First, he said, I think there is a short squeeze going on right now.

The tense here (present) implies that the squeeze just started.

Then he said, Everyone but the neighbour's dog has been shorting this thing. "has been" implies that the shorting occured in the past, i.e., before "is." Everyone knows that a large short interest is required for a short squeeze. If he thought a short squeeze was due to contemporaneous shorting, he would have said, "everyone and their neighbor's dog IS shorting this thing."

Advice to Steve: please refrain from name-calling, it just doubles the Intelispam we have to wade through on this thread.
