Einstein, thanks for the informative post. I'm impressed by your knowledge of Doubleclick. What do they offer in the way of tracking software that competes with Netgravity? Thanks

Robert

Nice post, thanks for the info.

I think I'm still unsure of what they mean by the Double Click Network, can anybody shed some light on how that works?

I do like resting my mouse on the ads at different sites and seeing "double click" as the source; most notably (to me anyway) is The Street.com and CBS Market Watch.

Lou

<..Neither side can terminate the agreement..>

I'm long DCLK bigtime, but are you sure about this? I know their last Alta-Vista contract allowed termination by either party with 90 days.

At SOME point down the road it won't matter that much - the AltaVista margins are not that great. Their contribution should be down to 40% of revenues by YE99, and down to at LEAST 35% by YE2000.

Great compilation, Robert. I'll post SSB, DLJ and BTAB recent research reports when I get a chance. The future looks VERY bright as internet ad budgets are really just barely beginning.
