Here is what I THINK happened to coffee pot today..

He was following Anthony@Pacific. Anthony Shorted at 2 1/8. Coffee pot followed, but because the downward move happened quickly, or due to a slow broker, maybe he/she/it only got the short at $1.90 or so. The move down to the 1.60s was fast, Anthony covered @ 1.68 and posted it on his site. Soon after, buyers came in, and up we go again.

Maybe Coffe was away, in a meeting, on the loo from all the coffe, in a car, in a bar, or who knows, and was secure in the belief that PNLK was gonna tank. Lo and behold, now it's back up above 2, and I am guessing (in my opinion) that coffee was left holding a short overnite, in a stock that has a good chance of gapping up in the morning, especially since the news was posted on the T site after market close.

Hmmm, no wonder all the nervous, frequent posts.

Just what is the definition of "is?"...
is that what you what to turn this into???........please, this is a rather simple argument...why unnecessarily attempt to complicate it?

Once again, reread the specifics of ATT's "agreement" with PLNK.....other than #4 (a ATT promotional offer) these appear to be very generic services....of course this is only my opinion.....if you feel otherwise please state so.

AT&T will provide the following items as part of its agreement with ProNetLink:

****1. Hosting: Hosting the ProNetLink website at AT&T's New York Global

Data Center with unlimited bandwidth on demand.

****2. AT&T SecureBuy: E-Commerce enabling the ProNetLink website, with a

secure end to end package, backed by AT&T guarantees.

****3. AT&T Interactive Answers: Integrating live voice services on the web

to enable ProNetLink users to communicate live over the web.

****4. Promotional Incentives: Providing ProNetLink members free 200 minute

AT&T prepaid phonecard ($60 value), for long distance calls, for

their first AT&T SecureBuy transaction with ProNetLink over

$25 when they register with the SecureBuy service.

5. Additional services which will be coming soon are:
a) AT&T Direct Toll Free Service - International toll free services
available from over 150 countries, to enable global marketing and
customer service.
b) Language Line Service - Live language translation services in over
100 languages to facilitate international business phone
conversations.
c) AT&T Direct Service, International Traveler Update Program and
International Business Traveler Dialing Guide - Never be out of
contact even when you are in the far corners of the globe, with
AT&Ts direct US access codes available in over 130 countries.

I will start by admitting I am a momentum trader of this stock, but since I still hold it, this is not a negative post.

After reading the news release, I went and researched the services offered on the AT&T web page. If you go there and read about their Web Site Services, you will see that what is described in the news release is part of the standard offering that any customer can buy.

However, that doesn't mean this is bad. PNLK will be getting a backbone network, ecommerce software, and I believe programming support. So what if they are paying for it? Who cares if others can get it? What they do with it is important.

Maybe they got a better price, maybe not. Maybe AT&T has an interest in the final product, maybe not. We don't have the answers to that.

Yes, the news release was issued by PNLK and not AT&T. However, the release was linked to T, so it gave good exposure to anyone following AT&T, which just happens to be the widest held stock.

The quote in the release by AT&T probably doesn't mean more than it says..perhaps just a supportive marketing statement. However, do a search on past AT&T releases, and other news releases linked to T, and check if their are other companies with this service with a quote from AT&T. I did not do this, but my suspicion is that the count isn't many.

So, let Mr. Coffee_Pot post all he wants. What he is saying is true, but not a negative for this stock. My experience with SI has been that anyone who has to keep posting the same info to any thread, with no additional information, and where the poster doesn't own the stock or have a previous negative history with the company, only indicates a selfish, malicious motive. They are not looking out for anyone but their own egos.

OK, I guess I said enough for my first post to this thread.

Hey Pot! z makes a lot of sense on this issue. Your one point is pointless. We are tired of hearing it over and over again. Why not just take your losses get out and shut-up. There are other opportunities out there. Maybe not for you, as none of our friends here are willing to tell you what they are. Please stay off the thread if your not going to provide something of worth.

Thanking you in advance,
Roy
