Christopher: Ironic that the last time Adaptec was interviewed on CNBC was after the disaster of a year ago. As Switz noted, it was Saviers the CEO then and it was an awkward time. Curious that it will be the CFO this time, eminently competent to discuss the financials, which is about all Haines and company will be interested in. After all, SCSI and RAID just don't go well with a cup of coffee, at least not on network TV. And besides, Boucher probably just wanted to sleep in. "Send Andy, he'll do anything." And if Boucher went on, they'd just focus on why he's the "interim" CEO.

You are probably the only person I'm vaguely familiar with who has a computer screen bigger than the TV. There's something to be said for that. And a bigger TV would probably drive you to drink anyway.

Where is your boonies at? I don't have CNBC either. I heard enough of the names such Maria and bashing analysts, it is for day traders. My 13" TV hardly got turned on except when I watch JayLeno and Lucy Ball. All financial news come from T1 line.
