He said "consumer price points" .

Those transistors are CHEAP for Intel because of their HIGH YIELDS and HIGH VOLUMES.

If they are efficiently used - why is 3DLABS slipping its new product introductions?

Can't you just shove a few million transistors into the design and hope they will do something useful?
