Won't hear until mid next week at the earliest.....

With Doris in Peru this week & not back until Feb 1/99 I would doubt that we will see any news before Feb 3/99.

FWIW I am surprised it came back off below $0.40 before Barrick results.

Hi Brumell. You 're absolutely right when you say: "A good post Shirley but sometimes I wonder. Is it really worth the effort to even respond? They have their opinion gained from who knows what and would rather talk first and think later....if at all."

I am fast approaching the conclusion that I am wasting my time, Brumell. For a long time now, I have tried to help those who may not have the experience to know where to look, and what to look for, but for the most part, it is a lot of work in a hopeless cause. A prime example of that is over on the PFG thread right now. A long time ago I had done a summary of all the warrants and options that were outstanding and their expiry dates and exercise prices. Because it had become really relevant again, I pulled the link of that summary up and reposted it the other day. Within two days a guy posts and makes comments about the warrants and states that he doesn't know if they are institutional or not, but if they were, then it would be good for the company. I read that and reposted so that he would TRY to make an effort to find out what is going on before making wild suppositions which could give the wrong impression to novice investors.

It is becoming more and more apparent to me that I would waste far less time if I just invest for myself, and let the chips fall where they may. "There is no one so blind, as those who will not see." Seems like an appropriate quote in these cases.

Cheers

Shirley
