Stock is still being sold off...8 and holding....

M Carver,
I guess in hindsight my use of the term lemming in this context was a bit harsh. I understand some of the frustration voiced by those who purchased this stock because they assumed there would be a buyin/out. I guess I have always assumed that until we have the final announcement, that there was a good possibility that no deal would be done. We all know that JT believes his company is worth a lot down the road and has vowed not to sell too cheap. We all knew that the company was being compared to PHB, DLP and others in the industry. We all knew that the multiple those companies received in a buyout were stellar.

Those who dismiss the management of this company because they wouldn't sell part or all of the company at, what they consider, a discount are wrong, IMO. While I wish that JT and company had used better discretion and not taken the buyin/out talks public, I understand what they were trying to do.

I will let the dust settle and anticipate better things down the road.

BWDIK,
Michael

If you believe in ABTX for the longer haul, this is a very reasonable price to pay, $8..... The only thing that has changed is the formal buyin/buyout suspension.... Going forward, given the top notch talent, the bio-tech agreements in place, the progress toward integration and the possiblity of surprise buyin/buyout it is a reasonable risk to buy here.... IMHO

I for one do not believe that JT and his team are stupid. They probably could have handled matters concerning acquisition better. They have been pretty much on target in most of their projections and objectives. I understand frustration and disappointment, as I feel the same. However, when I think about what has happened on the positive side, JT's personal stake, the management that is in place, etc,I have an underlying belief that this company is not only, obviously undervalued, but will reach the levels that we all want.
I certainly respect everyones' right to post whatever they want, but for me , if I can't be part of the solution, I certainly don't want to exacerbate the problem. If your tired of waiting, or don't like the management, then sell. Is your glass half full or half empty?
Good Luck!! :>)
