I can't argue with your credentials, but MTI's bottom line, along with many others, simply don't agree with your statement. FC is supposed to be every companies everything in storage some day, the point is, most companies are getting along very well without for the time being. (According to my reading.)

Simply incorrect. Any storage engineer knows that there is no benefit (today) for having FC on the back end (i.e., disk to disk). In fact, this is a DISADVANTAGE.
