Terror---
"you are correct in that statement that stock splits do nothing in terms of value. However,
stock splits have a psychological effect of a more affordable stock price. But more
importantly, it indicates management's belief that their is continued growth opportunities
that will allow for the stock to rise. just my two cents."

AS the professor said above it would be a psychological boost for the shareholders . It is definitely a way for the company to show their belief in the future .
It would be interesting to see if they did split on FEB 17 at the stock holder meeting what effect it might have on options on FEB 19 ? It might catch a few people in a short position ?

BEST WISHES
