RE:"CPQ itself will get a good boost in equity, especially if they
retain half of AV stock and the original issue is fairly good size. "

This is true but you're a whole lot better off getting the AV stock spun off to you.
If the shareholders don't get the AV stock then CPQ is screwing you and Pfeiffer should be immediately shipped back to the otherside of the pond.

Windseye,
I think it is time to "Show me the money!" If that happens, we are off to the races.

<<Intersting how market has reacted to CPQ today... looks like the 3 pt rise is all we'll get today. >>

Please be reminded that a three point rise corresponds to a $3 Billion rise in value for CPQ when AV is estimated to be valued at ONLY (?!?) $2 billion by current Internet analysts.

I am concerned with the small runup from today's announcement might mean the earnings announcement will not be that great. I think we will hit estimates, but my concern is revenues. Other companies have taken hits due to revenues being below expectations even though they met earnings estimates.

Trying to decide if I should sell today and buy back on the dip tomorrow if the above scenerio happens.
