Jason, I have been following ITEC for 3 weeks or so. Aside from that however, what I do is read all the news that comes through the wires in the morning. Most of the worthwhile news comes across between 8:15 and 9:15AM. If I see something that looks like a winner, I put it on my list and watch it. I also check the 20 most advanced NASDAQ issues just prior to and up to 1-2 hours after the open. Anyway, if it is great news (real news), I buy shortly after the open, like I did with ITEC. Then hold until it breaks intra-day support. If it finishes strong, I hold overnight and sell into the gap the next day. I had never heard of PCNA until last Thursday, I saw the news, checked the float, and bought, then sold 1/2 hour later for a double.
There are a number of sources to use for news etc. I use COMTEX, PR NEWSWIRE, REUTERS.
