RE: DEMAND to receive shares of AV when they are spun-off.
Have you seen something which would lead you to believe that would not be the case?

RE:"Attention All CPQ Shareholders...

Call Compaq, write to them, email them, fax them, and let them
know as shareholders you DEMAND to receive shares of AV
when they are spun-off. Otherwise you may get screwed! "

Elliot,

Lets not jump the gun and start hounding CPQ before they have even had the opportunity to tell shareholders--and everyone else--how they plan to take AV public.

Nothing that I have either heard on CNBC or read so far has altered my opinion that CPQ *did*not*want* to make their announcement today but were forced into making it, before they were ready, due to a leak.

If anyone is feeling angry right now, please don't take it out on the powers-that-be at CPQ. The one to chase with a baseball bat is the person(s) who was prepared to release the leak--who is not necessarily a CPQ employee.

Let's wait and give CPQ a chance to make their intentions public before taking any outraged shareholder actions.
