Jim; Haines has it in his head that he has to ask "insightful", "probing" questions, and avoid hyping by throwing softballs. At the same time, he knows just enough to be dangerous, so he goes right to what is potentially negative or controversial. He often has no real knowledge of the company he's asking about, so the interview ends up disjointed, adversarial and not very informative. I've seen it time and time again. He ends up missing the mark, even on companies that deserved to be trashed. Charlie
