Here is a humble question from a former Compaq follower:
If one wants to buy alta vista shares, what is the best (cheapest) way to go about it?
1. buy compaq now and hope the share ratio is fair
2. buy compaq after earnings hoping for disappointment and lower cost
3. wait for IPO and buy at market

TO: NW and All

May good luck shine upon all of you tomorrow morning. As a regular reader of this thread for well over a year, there's nothing I'd like more than to see all of you make some big time money on this stock.

As for the A/V announcement today, in the immortal words of Bill Murray in the movie "Meatballs":

It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter! It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter!

WHAT MATTERS AT THE MOMENT IS WHETHER E.P. AND THE REST OF GANG AT CPQ BEAT THE STREET'S ESTIMATES AND MET THE REVENUE GOAL AS WELL!

The A/V stuff will work itself out over time. Let's go CPigQ!!!!

LOL to all,

JMaz

PS: Doesn't Kumar have something else to do with his time than to bash CPQ?
