Hi Bernie, We're thinking alike on UOPIX. I'm using the IW's Stock recommendation as a target for Cash rather than the mutual fund setting. Last Fall's drop would have exhausted a smaller amount.

I'm also using 10% SAFE on both the buy and sell side for now. After I get more of a feel for it, maybe I'll trim the Buy side a bit.

I bought UOPIX through Waterhouse, so I'm co-mingling the Cash Reserve with the rest of the account.

With MRK, try reducing just the Buy side a small amount at first. This tends to build in a slight bias for accumulation over time. Try this instead of reducing both sides uniformly. On my more conservative stocks, this is how I handle it.

Best regards, Tom

Bernie, had a similar problem with BOBJY. I had a sell at 31 1/2 and it just kept bouncing up to that ceiling for weeks. I was going to "cheat" and lower the GTC sell order. I didn't and I finally got a fill. Guess someone just got sick and tired of carrying my GTC order around in his pocket and said, "What the heck, lets give the guy a break." Who knows, maybe my little GTC sell order sparked the market and broke BOBJY through that resistance point.

BTW, how are the other BOBJY twins doing? Newport shows me with a 150% gain over the past year and a half or so. (I'm not too good with remembering figures and too lazy to look it up. All I can remember is that its a big number.)

Thanks A.I.M. Users Group and Mr. L.
