i was not aware of the distinction between a virus and a trojan.

so is it correct then that if i run a virus scan using norton antivirus 5.0, that it won't detect a trojan?

thanks,

mark

"There is another existing tool called NetBus which has
capabilities similar to Back Orifice. The currently available definitions of
Norton AntiVirus detect both Back Orifice and NetBus."
