Not unless it is really well known would be my guess. Trojans are similar to Easter eggs except that they are not benign.

The problem nowadays is that it has become so easy to write slick-looking windows programs with Visual Basic and even Visual C++.

A malicious shareware program could easily send your Quicken files to an SMTP server while you are connected to the internet without your noticing it.
