Michelle... did you listen to the CC?
What's your take on their investments in systems infrastructures for warehousing and supply chain management? From my limited knowledge on this subject I think there will introduce operational efficiencies that will drive their costs down, margins up, etc. etc. with virtual integration model (ala DELL).

Laura

Michelle -- Laura sent me to you to ask how the infrastructure of AMZN compares with Barnes. My understanding is that Barnes is the 500 pound infrastructure gorilla, and AMZN is way behind trying to play catch up by leasing and renovating facilities. AMZN has two where Barnes has, I think, twelve high tech centers around the country. They also have print to order capability which AMZN does not. And they are preparing an IPO of their Barnes.com stock which will increase their visibility and raise a ton of cash to bury AMZN.

A Cal grad apologizing to a Stanford grad. I'm impressed.
