Skeeter, the DELL Visa is likely offered by a bank, not by the company. The 0% interest for 4 months is a device to trick people into paying 18+% interest on the loan. I'll bet if you read the fine print interest is charged retroactively if payment is not made in full before the 4 month grace period expires. The few people who are disciplined enough to pay in full and get 0% are more than paid for by those who end up making payments. I doubt very much that DELL pays any more for a charge on the card than they do for a purchase charged on any other major credit card. The 1% rebate probably also comes from the card issuer. At least that's the way it works with every rebate card that I've been involved with, and I won't carry a charge card that doesn't give me a kickback. That they can find an issuer to offer these terms says more about the fierce competition in the credit card industry than it does about DELL's situation, IMO.

BTW, DELL made a new all time high today.
