What do you guys think of having SI move this thread from the computer section to the internet group?

Perhaps we should wait until after the IPO. <g>

Seriously, though, with the appreciation in AXC stock, we should anticipate (near?) future acquisitions to come to fruition. If I recall correctly, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) when AXC was @ $ 2, Bramson stated that it should be @ double that. (Almost there... and then some.)

BTW, once we hit $ 4 won't the Convertible kick in for @ 15% dilution?

<<<
If fully converted, the new securities would dilute earnings per share by slightly less than 15%, which is more than justified by the improvements in liquidity and increased financial flexibility resulting from this transaction. It is worth noting that the rate of return to the institutions that hold the preferred stock will depend significantly on Ampex's common stock price rising above the $4.00 per share level at which the Convertible Preferred Stock is convertible.

Geez, an interesting issue! I defer to the "experts."

I mean, who are we now:

Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million?
