Crys-Tel Telecommunications.com, Inc. Announces Italian Joint Venture FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Crys-Tel Telecommunications.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CYSS - news) announced today that the company has entered into a Joint Venture agreement with Crys-Tel Italia S.P.A. to provide its Internet telephony services in Italy. The company has installed Gateways in Rome, Milan, and Florence since November of 1998 and will be setting up call stations in each of the three cities to enable individuals to use their unique service at competitive rates. Crys-Tel Italia S.P.A. has undergone successful Beta testing between the three sites, and is now undergoing Beta testing to the main Crys-Tel hub located in Vancouver and terminating anywhere in the world. Crys-Tel Italia, which will own 70% of the venture, has committed to purchase and install 100 gateways in Italy over the next 18 months. The system will be fully operational in March 1999.
