What will IDC reveal,that is the question.

John:

Don't write off Jim's analysis yet,wait till the IDC report comes out Friday to see the real story about the PC sales figures,that is the real test.CPQ might have beat the number because of Digital but we want to see what they have done in the PC segment,then the fun really starts.

Also I hear the AV IPO is not on the agenda any time soon,at least not until latter part of this year or even next according New York Times.

Of course, CPQ deserves congratulations for reducing its operating expenses by 5%. I and a lot of other people considered this to be a stretch.

No reason to be upset about my prediction. Unless you were following
me too closely. In that case, you need to know that I do not maintain a position in CPQ because its performance and financials have been unreliable.

A closer analysis of what it has been doing will have to wait for its 10-Q's.
