Not so nasty for GUMM, one of my AIM stocks. Since the parabolic rise in the shares, I've been holding off selling (against Newport's wishes). I'm NOT SURE how to play this one, Tom. The chart is at:
dbc.com
Notice the huge volume today (Wednesday) on the impending news release. It turns out that GUMM is associated with the "cure for the common cold," using chewing gum as a delivery system. There is talk on the GUMM board that the company may be a buyout target at around $35 or so. An announcement is supposed to come out on Thursday. Message 7520546
What do you think? Should I play this one with "stop loss" orders? I've had five sells in a row, totaling 700 shares. Check out the spreadsheet (3rd graphic) at: elnet.com
Of course I could kick myself for doing it, but who was to know? I'm usually sweating when an AIM stock starts tanking, but this is a totally different feeling.

Sincerely shaking,
RFH
