A G* phone will be QCOM's highest margin phone. I would expect them, if needed, to sacrifice a few QCP-2700's at low margin for high margin G* phones. Remember that they are only on the hook for 100,000 to begin with. I looked into this a few months ago--it will NOT be a problem.

Question: Calls I've received from Qualcomm CDMA cell phones evidence voice quality that is, in many cases, no better and sometimes inferior to the voice quality on the Iridium phone. Is there to be some alteration to the technology for use in space that will ensure high quality consistently in transmission?
