Datek still had shares (selectively) till the closing, thanks to CL. Has been good for another buck within for a few minutes. A drakes said earlier on DBCC, Mr.Margin will make his rounds. Btw. there had been another silly ban rumor around, posted on the TMEX thread yesterday, I see, it was another lie! C.

Mama Bear, "I envy you your borrow on IMON. I was seriously considering clicking on 'shares not held in account' and selling anyway." I tried to short IMON today, but it was not available to borrow. Can you explain your above statement? Does that mean you can sell a stock without borrowing it? I thought only market makers could sell a stock short "naked." I would think a broker for a regular retail customer would interpret a sell order on stock that is not owned as an error (as opposed to a sell short order). If my question makes sense to you, let me know. XTON up today on news it is spinning off its "elottery." The only problem is that its "elottery" was ruled illegal, and the business was recently shutdown. Go to its website, try to sign up, you will see that they shut it down in a sneaky way... the "front" web page looks like it still works, but try to sign up and you will see it is out of business... Basically, they are spinning off a piece of crap. Could be a good short if it gets high enough. Thanks MAMA Smoothie
