Michael, is that paid in cash? I get a 5% rebate on my GM Mastercard up to $500 per year, but I will have to use it to buy a GM. Since I have my eye on a Suburban in the future it makes sense.

I also get a 5% rebate on my Citgo Companion VISA up to $200. The trouble with that is that they dole it out $5 at a time when you go to a Citgo. Since I quit my old job, there's no way I'm going to get to a Citgo 40 times a year to claim it.

I get 2% on an Amoco VISA up to $70. That has to be redeemed at an Amoco station but I can easily buy $70 of gas every year.

I used to get 3% on my groceries at Giant up to $600, but as I said, they just changed it to 1%.

That lineup more than covered all of my credit needs for the year. It added up to just about $900, with $400 in cash. I wonder why anyone pays an annual fee to have a credit card. Of course all my rebate card issuers hate me, because I pay my bill in full each month.

I also have the Waterhouse Visa which pays 1% in limited to 1% of my credit limit. I haven't

Thanks, I'll look into your suggestions, as I have room for another card now that Chevy Chase has reneged on their agreement.
