Your 2nd assumption is right. Institutional investors have more power than us. Because more buying power. So, as soon as they notice prfm could be interesting, they will buy.

To sustain stock growth, we should see some other events or PR from Perfumania. What are the next ones ?
- last quarter report, should be issued in Q1
- results from site opening
- crossed alliances with other inet brands
- international alliances and locations
Do you need more ?

"HOWEVER, HERE IS WHERE I COULD GO WRONG: maybe everyone doesn't
know (which is possible because I haven't really heard much about the stock on the
news or from people just discussing it) and PRFM's web-site won't be priced into the
stock until the PR blitz hits (and then everyone, really EVERYONE knows about the
site) and at THAT point the market becomes efficient and moves the stock up to $20."

Steve, I used to think that if a stock had a pretty good following on SI, then most people would have heard it. My experience now tells me that's just not the case. I think that you'd be surprised to discover how many brokers have never heard of SI, and those that have, don't follow it or don't take it seriously. My point is that when the website opens on February 1 and it hits the brokerage's Bloombergs - that's when a lot of these guys will first hear about PRFM.

MOO of course.

Steve... I hear ya. I too often wonder when I should exit a stock. Hindsight is 20/20 they say, but I hate it when they go up after I'm out! ; )

Like I said, nothing personal was meant in the post. I'm fairly new at this too. But looking at everything I could get my eyes on, I think this one has quite a ways to go. Of course, maybe I still have SKYM on my mind. Thought I was so cool with a double at 12, then look where it went!
