yes apps and consulting. tons of consultants are on bench right now and mgt. is struggling to place people. Consultant rates may be coming down sharply.

RE: Consultant rates dropping sharply. That would depend on the field you're in. If you are a ERP consultant specializing in Y2K, there is a HUGE demand for those consultants, because they can't afford to have their systems crash when the clock hits Jan 1 2000. If you are just a std. ERP consultant hired to get up the system, then yeah, I could see that happening.
