Rthe R - but what percentage of shareholders who hold stock with brokers will respond to your poll - only those who post here - probably small shareholders, and likely to oppose anyway?. There was a report on Reuters today saying that after studying the drilling results 'for 3 weeks' NEM has passed on making an offer. The same report also said that Barrick had sweetened its offer after lobbying by some major shareholders. The report also quoted John Ing as saying that he thought the game isn't over. dd
