>>Are you using both MBT and Watley? << I use both, and am happy with both, but my main account is with MBT just because that's the one I started with, and the full version of RealTick is with MBT. So the bulk of my trading is with MBT. With ABW I just subscribe to the Silver level. I haven't been unhappy recently with lagging quotes from MBT, tho there was a period a little while ago when quotes did lag at the open. Now the trades may be out of sync but the bid/ask seems to be accurate. Bear in mind that I seldom trade at the open - one exception was yesterday where I sold some MSPG at the open (:-( - with no problems - the bid I hit was the price I got. The only other recent example was the day after the first IMON frenzy where I sold twice into accurate bid/asks. I just accept that the reported trades may be way late - they're history anyway, no matter how up-to-the-minute they may be. If I don't use ABW more, it's largely because two versions of RealTick cannot co-exist on the same operating system. (Believe me, I even e-mailed Townsend - saying "you gotta be kidding" and they told me yes, it's true, and there's no fix) - so you have to choose one or the other to reside on your primary machine. So ABW is on my laptop and I enter ABW by accessing a second ISP thru the home phone line when I want to place a trade. Convoluted, and another reason why I don't use ABW more. Brett, if you're listening, can't you persuade Townsend to write a fix that allows co-existence between its various users? BTW, how does ABW communicate a margin call? I went into my account today for the first time this week and found 3000 worth of negative excess equity. Sounds like I should have received a call, but I didn't.
