1. PSFT has excellent balance sheet.

2. Cash and short-term investments is $ 686 mil from $392 mil in 1997.

3. Assets also grew from $898.3 mil to $ 1.44 bil.

4. Revenue is $1.3 bil. How many companies with >$ 1 bil at this stock price.

This stock is worth at least $30.

Bob;

I think the most negative part is that the license rev grew only 3% yr to yr. This is what analyst concentrate on, and gives them an idea of the future service business and how competitive they are in the market place. Also street never likes the idea of restatements. It confuses them.

There was article by shorts not long ago that PSFT is very aggressive in their accounting practices, may be time has caught up with them.
