The economic data out today showed continued strength in the US economy. To have a panic in the bond market there has to be a triggering mechanism.

Are you expecting a bank failure to be announced tomorrow? Or are you expecting some dramatic situation to occur over the weekend?

OK LT. I'm holding you to this. Are you saying tomorrow starts THE end of the bull market? You have cried wolf for 4 months.

O.K., that's it. So if we don't start seeing the end of the world tomorrow, then what? Can you PLEASE tell us THE thing that is pegging tomorrow as IT?

All the numbers out the past month say nothing but clear sailing ahead...today's especially. Of the companies reporting more than 64% have met or exceeded expectations.

Presidential assassination? WWIII? Major earthquake in Japan or California? It is going to have to be one of those to create what you are speaking of.

O.K. Luc, I am holding you to this current prediction. By next Friday.

quote.yahoo.com Overall world indices look great this evening

I don't know where you are coming from with all this negativity.

What's fueling the market run right now is clearly net-mania and as more companies understand the 'net' part means 'alliances/relationships/communication/deals' the more they realize that at the heart of all successful business is the relationships that are forged with customers, suppliers, distributors, other business partners and ultimately the public at large. The Internet is fueling US growth and eventually it will spread abroad as well.

The earnings reports from net flyers coming out tonight were showing top-line growth in excess of 90% for almost every one of them. It's staggering growth and it's really only just begun.

Good luck with your prophecies.
