Michael, your "facts" make me worry about my judgement in being long on Iomega. I hope you are at least right on that point.

Michael.. good post..
I hope you don't mind that I forwarded your post on to Glore..
It will be interesting to see how he handles the part of his job
that says maximizing shareholder value.

This game is more than fundamentals more than inventory turns more than bottom line it's also about image. There are image makers out there such as Herbie et al that do harm to IOM's image ( although in Herb's regard it appears that he's having a hard time gaining any respect ), this is a job that need some attention.

They need to balance this bad press with better press.

On the other hand they have a lot on their plate and I wouldn't want
them to get distracted, the assimilation of SyQuest's properties and the reorganization of the company along with making Nomai productive and the ramp up of Clik! and Zip 250 ( hopefully USB )are just a few.

To those that want to dwell on the woe is me syndrom, I would say cut your losses get out of IOM, chuck it up to win some lose some. We've all been there, no big deal, learn to make up your mind and go with it.

The statement about this quarter was cavalier in nature, almost disconcerting and because of that I have a suspicion that something's up, can't put my finger on it but watching very closely, how about sticking my neck out a little.

Regards
Reseller

Mike,

Pertinent "Dear Mr. Glore" letter.

The action of the stock price does rely on the spin that is given during the conference call. After all, the past action is over and done with anyway.

Think of politicians that, SOME know and love....and their word manipulation.

I know that Iomega IR checks out the message boards. HINT, HINT.
Need some PR here. Got any??

Linda
