OT: This is one of the few countries in the world where you can get the real story (if you look), despite the immoral majority's desire to manipulate what you can see/hear. Many governments in asia, including China, are trying to censor the internet. Many "governments" in the middle east have banned the internet and satellite TV because the factual reporting conflicts with their propaganda machines. Would you prefer to live with those A**holes?!? We are one of the few countries where one can ridicule the government openly, or sue the president for sexual harassment. More importantly, WE can change the government to an extent. Yeah, America has problems, and an incompetent foreign policy is definitely one of them. But I would still rather live here than anywhere else I have been. In fact, I don't care about what the other countries think - my government is protecting my interests by ensuring stability where my energy comes from. In conclusion, get a life! Ken

OT - sorry thread, I can't respond to AG via PM since his account won't accept them AG writes: ... you simply are unable to see such things. It is obvious that you are unable to comprehend the meaning and extend of those trends even being brought in touch with them. I question your reference to Hitler and the connection you made with our government and you jump to the conclusion that I am not in touch with reality??? I believe it is you who have to redirect that question inwardly. I am not defending the actions of our government and all I was trying to do was state that the people I talked to outside the US wouldn't make the analogy you used. Then you jumped into Southeast Asia? Where the hell did that come from?
