<Anyone know the cause for the drop today?< The only explanation I can find is that it was in reaction to the PSFT earnings report. The whole ERP sector has been pretty much decimated and I guess the feeling is that PSQL isn't about to buck the trend. My feeling is that they won't show the same kind of poor results. The mid-tier players actually came in pretty much on the numbers, so far. Though, it hasn't helped anyone.

The drop in price is the result of two factors: investors scared by PSFT and flippers who thought the company was going to be bought out. On the latter, check out the Yahoo message board commentary for the last month about a potential deal. I think it finally dawned on all the flippers that it didn't make much sense for PSQL to be aquired right after it made a dilutive acquisition. I believe that Feb 4 earnings will be a pleasant surprise on the upside.
