Well they say one can never go home. Although that may be true in the sense that the past remains firmly planted in the past I do believe that we have the opportunity to go home in the sense that we use what we learned by bringing that experience or event into our present day of choice and chance. It is odd how romantically attached to 4 little letters I have become. PNLK, hmmmmm. PNLK, ahhhhhhh PNLK ohhhhhh. Don't those 4 letters have a certain charm to them? I would be willing to give odds that in thirty years someone could mention those 4 letters together and my heart will begin to race and my blood pressure spike. With that out of the way let me continue by saying hello to all of my old friends and regulars here on the thread. I have continued to check in here and keep current with you all but not holding a position in PNLK I thought it not proper to post. By the way that does not mean my position in my IRA. That does not count. This week I bought back in and sold and bought and sold and bought and sold. I wanted to try to trade this old gal and see how it felt. Funny, I came out of the experience feeling somewhat like it must feel to cheat on your wife or to lie to your kids. I have ended the week with a fair profit from the experience but have no shares to show for the experience. I know I have paid my entrance dues to the PNLK club but in a way it has exacted a toll from me. I am no longer a PNLK trading virgin! LOL! I guess the innocence had to end somewhere. Now I think that I may have it out of my system. I just may go back Monday or Tuesday to being loyal to my old girl and just try holding her for awhile. Perhaps with some care and attention she will accept my cheating ways and learn to love me in spite of my need to trade. God the heat of the moment can be alluring!!! I think this love of mine has settled down and I expect her to be less down than in the past. But like I said before I will bring my experience and wisdom into the present and with her help, your help and Glenn's help maybe, yes maybe, this will be what we have wanted all along. How will that happen? I like to remind everyone that the Internet, by its design, is an international connection. If you have a website, you automatically get international exposure. Now, that doesn't mean everyone will see your website. All it means is that anyone in anywhere in the world who happen to do a search on a subject that your website is related to, you have the possibility of being seen by that person. Let's say you have a company with a website selling 'purple plastic doorknob' (Yike!) locally in a town called 'Plastic Purple'. You are doing quite well because everyone who move into 'Plastic Purple' buy doorknob from you. Now, somewhere in Europe, a small town named 'Gone Purple' is expanding. A small hardware company name 'I Got IT' in the town of 'Gone Purple' is searching the internet for building material that has the word 'purple' on it. Viola! Your website link shows up on the screen and the company 'I Got IT' is excited! The owner of 'I Got IT' sends you an email requesting a price quote for your 'purple plastic doorknob'. After receiving your reply, the owner of 'I Got IT' realizes that you are not in Europe but in America! Since he doesn't know anything about import/export, he goes to his nearby Chamber of Commerce and asks for help. The local Chamber of Commerce, luckily, just talked to Glenn and directs the owner of 'I Got IT' to a Webtool called ProNetLink. And before you know it, a transaction is made between your company and 'I Got IT' company based in a little town called 'Gone Purple' in Europe. After the transaction, both you and 'I Got IT' have succeeded in becoming part of the import/export industry! Now, the owner of 'I Got IT' can also find out about ProNetLink through the Internet instead of going to Chamber of Commerce. But it definitely helps when local Chamber of Commerce supports ProNetLink Webtool. Here is the bright point, imagine how many of these communications between companies from all over the world will be happening in the next few years when current projections of Internet users for the next few years will increase 'how many' folds? Even if only a small percentage of these companies looking to trade outside their country for the first time tap into ProNetLink Webtool, our little PNLK baby may grow into a giant in no time!
