If we can hold onto 85, we go for the old AT high and probably through it. But we're short on time today.

Morning Scott and all

Another gap open this am -- though given that the futures closed at a steep discount the strength is a little misleading.

Toying around with shorting this gap -- contract high on the March contract is 1290.50, I understand. If I short it, I'll probably do it at the 90 level and use a fairly tight stop. Am trying to decide whether to just use a limit order or wait and see how it behaves before placing an order. Looking at reversing to the long side when it fills the gap --or thereabouts

Since Patrick's not going to be around, I don't know if there is anyone else who does the type of pattern analysis that he does to figure out the best time frames for possible turns in the direction of the market.

Bonds have come down somewhat -- and I am short, so that is going the right way
