Rudedog,
I know you will make money on both if you hold as the world continues to wire up and connect to the information highways.
My only point is I prefer #3 with only a 6-7% global marketshare, with a distribution model not only the envy of the sector, but probably of the manufacturing world, rather than #1 with 24% of m.s. scrambling to reinvent its own model.
I believe Michael Dell once said we are 300 million units into an eventual 1 billion unit market. If he is correct, and who can doubt this with the potential of the internet, I respectfully submit to you that barring any world market meltdowns, Dell can continue to provide the explosive growth the markets love for quite some time to come.

rudedog,

What do you think AMD's K7? which is supposed to be due in June. Will it compete directly w/ CPQ's alpha? Just loaded w/ some.

First time bought AMD @ $12 and sold @ $11 in 1992, and never look back again. This time it might be real for AMD to get INTC.

Thanks
