You certainly could be right from your TA perspective, but I hope that case scenario wonÕt be happening yet. How about another case scenario? IÕm so excited, IÕve told about 25 people about the AMPEX STORY this week, and to my surprise, 4 or 5 of them have bought some stock.People who donÕt invest too often, except in funds. Based on my little narrow study group, I suspect that there will a LOT of talk going on over the weekend, and that there will be a lot of NEW money coming in on Monday. This story is too good to keep quiet right now, so the churn should increase. IÕm just basing my opinion on the psychology of human nature. This should push a lot ÒgreedÓ buttons in people, people looking for bargain internet stocks, with REAL potential. Ampex fits the bill. I donÕt think there will be a major breakdown for a couple of weeks. HereÕs hoping for a good earnings report, and more news, to keep this moving up the food chain.....At any rate I hope your spin on events was not based on any immediate technical analysis reads-although I might expect it to happen in a couple of weeks.Perhaps you could clarify when the events you describe will begin.
