As in this post of yours and many others you often mention the ability of
Market Makers and floor traders to move prices at will. To whip the
markets and capture profits from the small traders.

It is just "one" of your many great contributions to us less informed
Index players.

Yesterday was a very clear example of cleaning house.
1-After the Globex morning pop SPX....
2-A 16 point drop in 45 min ±
3-Followed by a 24 point grind up...complete with a Top...with narrowing
volitility, spikes and triples and doubles on sone charts.
4-A 12 point decline after 3:00 in 30 min ±
5-Complete with a ending 14 point up move in 30 min

Remarkable
Anyone....on the wrong side of those "WHIPS" even with stops got
cleaned out trading futures...

I was able to catch the morning low, but hung-on to long at the top
and gave some back and blew the short that you and Tom caught. But
I did catch some of the rise at 3:30.

Because of your notice....I was just very conscious of market action
and wished I had a Level 11 for watching volume. But the Bollinger Bands
gave some indication of volitility...at best some what trailing.

Thanks Patrick
