$9.5M in additional orders from U.S. telephone companies

TORONTO, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - Aastra Technologies Limited (ASE: AAH) is
pleased to announce that it has received additional orders for Caller ID
devices from two major telephone companies in the United States. These orders,
which are valued at US$6.3 million or Cdn$9.5 million, are to be shipped by
Aastra in the next six months.

''These re-orders are a result of the success that the telephone
companies are experiencing in their current network service promotional
programs and the growing consumer demand for Caller ID,'' said Tony Shen,
Aastra's President and COO.

Aastra Technologies Limited develops, manufactures and distributes

from Caller ID adjuncts to full-featured communications systems. Aastra sells
