OT: Regarding the bubble bursting with the internet stocks, it will IMO and those that have no earnings or no earnings potential will deservedly come tumbling down. Those, however, that have solid earning power and fundamentals will sustain and/or eventually recover. I believe those of us who are long Lor, G*, I*, Vsat, etc., believe that these companies have very solid earning power and fundamentals which the market will reward. Jack, your Dell guy no doubt felt the same way when others were telling him IBM or Compaq would wipe Dell out. They didn't, Dell started reporting obscene profits and he is now worth 50 mill on a 400k investment. I think that can happen here to perhaps a lessor extent.
Tim A, I did see the Red Herring article but forgot about it. Thanks.

Now getting back on topic: Does anyone have any information on G* testing with their 8 sats. IR and published info says everything is hunky dory but we know from I* experience things can not go as planned. My question is if most of G* switching requirements are on the ground, can't they and haven't already worked out the software glitches with the existing gateways and 8 sats. This is the second part of one of my prev posts where I asked about hand set prod too. I believe Maurice gave me some comfort that both Qualcomm and Ericsson will have enough handsets when needed. I hope so.
